Transmission problem help!

Hi anyone else having issues with 2025 transmissions? Our daughter's check engine light popped on 14 days after we got her a new ride. They gave us a loaner, but we're bummed. Her last car had tranny problems, so we went new for safety and reliability. Should we just roll with the repair or push for a buyback if that's an option? Any suggestions pls.

Is the car under warranty? if so, then the dealer is obligated to fix it without cost to you. If you are not satisfied you can request a buyback.

I can see everyone is suggesting buyback, but you should first check your state's lemon laws, you can't just request buyback, your car has to go to the dealer multiple times and if the problem is not fixed then you are eligible for buyback.

So far I haven't had any issues with my 2025 CR-V. did you get it checked again? you might need a second opinion
