transmission fluid change needed?

hey guys, got a 2023 CRV with 39k miles. thinking about changing the transmission fluid and rear differential fluid. no alerts from the car yet. i've seen recommendations for these changes between 30k-60k miles depending on driving conditions. i drive under normal circumstances. anyone have any thoughts? any feedback would be great.

yeah I think, the maintenance minder system will actually notify you once the fluid changes are already needed. if it has not showed up yet, it's probably not an issue at the monent. but anyway, it's better to be prepared than it appears while you're in the middle of nowhere right? sooo my opimiom is you should do it whenever you feel like it kudos for researching btw

i also have '23 CRV too around 35k miles. i changed my transmission fluid and rear differential fluid at 40k just to be safe even with no alerts. i drive normally like you and its been smooth since. the 30k-60k range sounds right might as well do it now at 39k for peace of mind.

pretty advance car especially its a 2023 year model. so let the car tell you when, and support it with your own feeling. its best to get that close connection with your car to somehow understand if it really need some maintenance monitoring already.

I like how you think! yeah you should go for it, anyway youre in the middle of the range of recommendations. and yup, why wait? prevention is better than cure!

I think hitting almost 40k is just the sweet spot for transmission and differential fluid change.
Getting proactive is a smart move, especially if you want to keep things running smoothly down the road!

Is the car running normally? Any weird noises coming from the diff or the transmission shifting weird? If not, then you're good to go for a while, but not for too long. Sure, there's no harm in doing the service a bit earlier, but there's also no gain.

These are my guidelines, too. if it's still functioning normally then that's still good. But really, whatever floats your boat, @SynthwaveSorcerer303
