Dealer doesn't wanna honor my extended insurance

I got the 2022 EX-L which got totaled and now my insurance, even though it's extended, won't pay for a new one because the latest model only comes in a hybrid option. Is that legal? Do they have that right to refuse my warranty? WHAT'S THE USE OF THIS NOW IF THEY DON'T WANT TO HONOR IT?

That's a bummer, it really stinks when they pull things like this. If the warranty doesn't cover replacements when a model shifts (like to hybrid), they might be off the hook.

Did you look at the terms? Maybe ask if they can transfer or refund part of it?

If your extended warranty was tied to a specific model or powertrain, and that model's no longer available, it can get tricky. But they still have to honor the contract terms, if coverage applies to repairs or replacements, not upgrades. You might want to ask for the denial in writing and check if it violates your warranty agreement.
