2010 CR-V LX acting up

My 2010 CR-V LX won't crank or start, and this started right after I replaced the starter, twice. The first one was bad, and I had the 2nd tested before installing. Ive also put in a new battery and replaced the cutoff relay, but it still won't start in park or neutral. Any idea?

Since it won't crank in park or neutral, check the neutral safety switch or shift linkage alignment, you can also double-check starter wiring and grounds, it could be a missed connection or faulty ignition switch

Just wanted to add that if it's not the neutral safety switch, try looking at your ignition switch! My friend had a similar problem on his 2009 CR-V. He went through the starter, the neutral safety switch, all of it.. In the end, it was the ignition switch. The key would turn, and everything would light up on the dash, but it wouldn't send the signal to the starter to actually crank. A lot of people overlook it because it seems like it's working fine. Given the year of your CR-V, it's definitely worth checking out! It's a relatively inexpensive part and not too difficult to replace yourself if you're comfortable with that kind of job.

Good to know, i hadnt really thought much about the ignition switch since the dash lights come on normally. I'll add that to my checklist, definitely sounds like it could be the issue. When your friend swapped his out, did it completely fix the issue right away, or were there still occasional no-crank moments before it settled in??

Been chasing a no-crank issue for a few days now. Starter tested fine, and I just replaced the battery, but still nothing sometimes. Did your friend's ignition switch show any warning signs before it failed completely? And when you swapped it, did you need to reprogram the key or anything? I got a 2010 CR-V EX by the way. Thanks!
