Both my 2005 BMW 325xi and 2010 Honda CR-V have this weird issue where windows roll down on its own, the sunroof opens, or lights turn on by themselves, usually on the CR-V. Its not the key fobs, they're stored safely and cant be pressed accidentally, and I live in an area with no stray signals around. Some people suggest things like solar flares or interference, but nobody really knows. It's frustrating, especially when snow ends up inside the car, and i can't help but wonder if anyone else has had this happen.

Most modern cars have a feature where the windows roll down if you hold the unlock button for a few seconds. Are you pressing the button shortly and let go? It could be that the button is sticking and causing this.

This hsppened to my 2010 CR-V EX. It turns out, if the unlock button on the fob is held down too long (even in a pocket), it can trigger the windows and sunroof to open. I didn't believe it at first, but after testing it, yep it's a "convenience" feature.
