First oil change gone wrong

Yep did my first oil change on my brand new '25 CR-V hybrid sport touring and weird stuff happened lol. i added the oil, checked the level ofc, and just kept adding til it hit the full mark and turned out it took a full 5quarts. crazy right? didnt expect this at all i mean its the latest model and this small thing is causing me troubles. anyone experienced this at all?

first off, i hope you're pretty sure it took up to 5 quarts, typically it should take 4.2 to 4.5 quarts. but even if it did take the 5 quarts, i don't see why its a problem or should cause you troubles

How's your CR-V hybrid been running since then? Did you ever figure out why it took so much oil?
